Why I built Epilogue

So, why do I need a new book writing app? I already have google docs and apple notes, both are free.

Let’s follow the journey of an author. She starts writing her first chapter. Wait, she also has notes, links, character arcs, multiple storylines that she want to refer. Now, she has 2 google docs.

She write 3 chapters and shares it with her mom, her friends and her editor. But wait, they shouldn’t read each other’s comments to get biased. Now, she has 5 google docs. Also, there’s no way to merge the comments from anyone into one file.

Now she is a serious writer. Serious writers use serious writing tools but all of them work just on a mac! All her thoughts strike her on a train. She now pays for a software she doesn’t use as often and still keeps all notes on her phone.

That’s why Epilogue.
